Film Music Foundation Scholarships

Thanks to a generous grant from the Film Music Foundation, up to 200 youth composers will receive scholarship waivers to participate in the 2018 contest in our Youth category free of charge. The goal of the grant is to give young composers for whom the registration fee may be a barrier the opportunity to participate.

Eligibility: Eligible youth composers must be under 18 years of age by the contest registration deadline (January 31, 2018). Composers must be nominated by a teacher to receive a scholarship code that waives the contest registration fee.

To nominate your students, please submit the form below. You will receive instructions to register via email.

Please note that scholarship waivers will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Nominations DO NOT guarantee participation, as students must complete a contest registration form to confirm their spots in the contest.
